MicroVentures launches venture capital-themed Facebook game

Crowdfunding platform MicroVentures has launched a Facebook game in which real startups compete for players' virtual investments.
The Investor Challenge sees firms such as Etsy, Pinterest and Foursquare face off in six weekly rounds competing for money from players given $1 million "microbucks" to invest.
The startup that commands the most total investment from players advances to the next round where it faces off against a new opponent until a winner is found. Players can win $250 in cash each week for picking winners with the overall best performer will receive a MacBook Air.

The passage of the federal JOBS Act means there's a brand new category of early stage investment opportunities coming online and this is an entertaining way to get exposure to the space."
