Swapswire appoints JPMorgan's Kerry Williams CTO; expands tech team

Dealer-backed confirmation network Swapswire has appointed JPMorgan executive Kerry Williams as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

At JPMorgan Williams was CTO for cross business e-commerce, economic, credit and equities research, client relationship management, IB coverage, mergers and acquisitions and global currencies and commodities.

In addition Swapswire has promoted Roy Flint chief operating officer. He continues to be responsible for the firm's technical infrastructure, customer services and testing.

The company has also expanded its technical team and has hired Chris Sargeant as a technical support specialist responsible for the administration and deployment of all servers and firewalls. Sargeant was previously a systems administrator for Accenture where he was part of a server and storage team that managed Sainsbury's core IT infrastructure.

Swapswire has also appointed Karl Wolohan as team leader for its newly-created application support team. Wolohan joins the firm from Dresdner Kleinwort (DRKW) where he was application support leader and managed all financial reporting technical support activities in London.

Sam Petrossian has joined Swapswire's testing team as test analyst and is assisting in software testing activities. Before joining Swapswire, Petrossian worked as test analyst for Norton Rose where he managed all automated testing of applications.

Finally, the company has recruited Tolu Mumuni as business analyst. She joins the firm from DST International where she worked as a consultant.
