PostFinance, the number one in Switzerland for e-banking, has successfully launched their new digital banking portal, which integrates Personal Financial Management (PFM) solution powered by Strands, global provider of personalization and recommendation solutions.

With more than 1.6 million users, PostFinance has the most popular e-banking platform in Switzerland. The bank continues to strengthen its leadership position by continuously implementing cutting-edge technologies that empower customers to manage their finances independently.

The new e-finance portal has a brand new look and offers its customers modern user interface across all devices giving them complete control over their personal finances. Responsive design and advanced UX makes e-banking from PostFinance even easier and more intuitive to use. E-Cockpit, PFM solution implemented by Strands in 2012, now forms an integral part of the core banking offering. Both desktop and tablet versions of the new platform incorporate a tightly integrated PFM.

“Our clients tell us that only a few companies in the European market are able to deliver an advanced and fully integrated PFM solution and that Strands is one of the leaders. PostFinance selected Strands as its PFM provider because of the maturity, flexibility and extensive experience across the globe,” said Erik Brieva, CEO of Strands. PostFinance was the first financial institution to launch an electronic financial assistant in online banking two years ago with E-Cockpit.

Strands partners with top providers of digital banking platforms including Backbase, Temenos, Avaloq and IBM among others. Successful integration with the PostFinance e-finance portal has been done in partnership with Backbase, recognized as visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
