Interactive Data Corporation, a leading provider of market data solutions to the global Commodity & Energy industry, today announced the release of the next generation of FutureSource®, its market data management and analytics platform.

The web-based desktop platform includes new functionality, expanded data sources, and a flexible and customizable display environment that enhances its usability and analytical capabilities.

The redesigned and fully-hosted web-based FutureSource platform offers vendor of record (VOR) capabilities designed to provide traders, brokers and analysts in the commodities and energy sectors with operational cost savings, and an enhanced user interface that complements the platform's upgraded workflow capabilities. The dynamic new display environment makes the navigation and creation of user-defined content displays more intuitive and straightforward. The ability to personalize the look and feel of the display screens enables commodity and energy market participants to view what they need, when they need it and in a manner that is best suited to their specific work practices.

FutureSource 4.0 desktop application requires no software download and minimal bandwidth to operate. All symbol lists, settings and workspaces are saved in the Interactive Data secure private cloud, so users always have access to the latest version of the service. The FutureSource Mobile App version is also available via download on the iPad, most smartphones and wireless PDAs (including BlackBerry and iPhone), to complement the desktop application, and requires no additional exchange fees.
