With the many daily demands of owning a business, effectively managing time can be just as crucial, and just as challenging, as managing finances.

To make both of these easier and more convenient, RBC today launched RBC Express Mobile, an intuitive and secure business banking app that brings the robust and flexible features of RBC Express Online Banking to business clients on the go.

"We know that business owners rarely sit still and that's why it's important for us to help them stay on top of their finances while on the go," said Blaise MacNeil , Vice-President, Business Treasury Solutions, RBC. "We're excited to bring our online business banking capabilities to our business clients with RBC Mobile Express. This way, they can manage their finances anywhere, anytime."

RBC Express Mobile is the first mobile business banking app in Canada to be available on three major device platforms - Apple, Android and BlackBerry -and the only app to allow businesses to transfer funds between their accounts from their mobile device. It enables users to access key functionalities from RBC Express Online Banking, a web-based transaction and information service designed specifically to meet the banking needs of businesses, in the palm of their hand.

RBC Express Mobile allows RBC business clients to:

View balances and/or transactions for their business deposit accounts
Transfer funds between accounts
Approve payments and transfers made by other users
Find an RBC Royal Bank branch or ATM

RBC Express Mobile keeps clients' data private and secure at all times with no financial data stored on the mobile device. The app shares many of the same security measures used in RBC Express Online, including user permissions and authorization limits.

"At RBC, security is always top-of-mind and the same is true for businesses, especially for those with high-dollar and high-volume banking transactions. With RBC Express Mobile, their company's banking information is protected by multi-level security features and state of the art encryption," added MacNeil. "They are in control of their transaction and their financial nancial data and information belongs where it should - with our client."
