Hexaware Technologies Limited, a leading global provider of IT, BPO and consulting services, has announced a new global strategic alliance with MarkLogic Corporation, the leading Enterprise NoSQL database platform.

Leaders in their respective fields, MarkLogic and Hexaware believe the partnership will enable organisations to manage the massive data of any source and format to drive revenue, streamline operations, meet regulatory compliances, and manage risk.

The move is set to bridge the gap between complex technologies and successful implementation.

Hexaware, which specialises in enterprise data management solutions, is bringing business acumen and data management skills to the partnership, identifying the technologies appropriate to business needs, and reducing the risk and cost of implementing new technology.

The initial focus of the new partnership will be on the areas of Banking and Financial Services. Recognising that traditional relational database technologies can no longer keep pace with evolving business needs, these industries are looking for leading edge ways to leverage non-traditional sources of data and monetise those assets, enabling customer analytics, real time risk reporting, fraud prevention and market research.

David Ponzini, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development, MarkLogic, said: "The new alliance between MarkLogic and Hexaware will provide a powerful combination to help banking and financial institutions solve today's enterprise data management challenges.

"To remain competitive, banks and financial services organisations need the ability to manage not only an explosive volume of data, but also more types of heterogeneous data than ever before.

"MarkLogic is the only Enterprise NoSQL database platform that integrates search, semantics, and application services that is hardened and proven with the enterprise features six of the top ten global banks trust to develop and run their production applications and transactional operations."

Amrinder Singh, Senior Vice President & Head of Europe, Hexaware Technologies Limited, said: "We believe that our new partnership with MarkLogic will open up exciting new global opportunities for both companies, thanks to the wealth of experience and knowledge that we can now pool.

"MarkLogic is a market leader when it comes to powerful and feature-rich enterprise platforms and is a leading player in the NoSQL database industry. With MarkLogic, we can now help organisations manage and protect their most critical assets like never before. It's a perfect fit. We also believe that this move emphasises the depth of our ambition while displaying an on-going commitment to quality. Hexaware is focused on improving best-of-class industry practices and with MarkLogic our end-to-end data management offering is now stronger than ever."
