Object Trading, an independent provider of global direct market access (DMA), today announced the appointment of Des Peck as New Business Sales Executive in Europe. Mr. Peck will be responsible for leading Object Trading's sales and business development initiatives.
He will join Object Trading's London office and report to Gerry Turner, Executive Director of Object Trading.
Mr. Peck joined Object Trading from TMX Atrium, where he was the Head of Marketing and Product since 2008. He will be responsible for fostering new business opportunities and aligning the company's technology innovations with the specific needs of buy and sell side clients. While at TMX Atrium, Des developed and executed a strategy repositioning the company from a low cost infrastructure provider to a low latency, multi region, multi asset service provider. During his tenure at TMX Atrium, the company launched an award winning low latency product, and expanded into new geographies and asset classes.

Prior to TMX Atrium, Des was at BT Radianz, where he was the Head of Product Marketing responsible for launching innovative solutions to the market and generating new revenue streams for the business. He held senior manager positions in Account Development and Engineering teams at Radianz from 2000 to 2005. Des has an MSc in Telecommunications, a BEng in Electronics and is Chartered Engineer as well as a post-graduate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
