Leading global online cash payment provider, Ukash, is continuing its expansion into key markets, as it partners with QIWI Brazil, the cash and electronic payments provider.

Under the new agreement, Ukash voucher codes will be available from 400 QIWI POS terminals across Brazil, adding to Ukash's already established presence in the country. Bringing the total number of outlets where Ukash can be accessed in Brazil to 4,500, this latest partnership gives Brazilian shoppers even more choice when looking for the convenience of safe online payments without the need for a bank account or credit card.

QIWI Brazil was established in 2013 and forms part of the QIWI Group, which operates payment services in 20 countries worldwide. QIWI's payment services use POS terminals and card vending machines providing access to a range of services. Consumers can process cash and electronic payments via personal bank accounts, mobile phone accounts and social network currencies and QIWI's new partnership with Ukash offers consumers in Brazil access to Ukash online cash service, giving them even more choice for paying and playing online.

QIWI Brazil terminals are accessible in convenience stores, petrol stations and other small retailers across the country. Consumers can exchange notes and coins for a 19 digit Ukash code, at a QIWI terminal and then shop safely online at thousands of websites worldwide.

"This partnership further strengthens our global network, establishing Ukash as a flexible payment provider in Brazil and meeting the growing demand for online shopping in the region" explained Miranda McLean, Marketing Director, Ukash. "QIWI's extensive network of terminals means we can offer Brazilian shoppers the freedom and convenience of safe online cash payments with Ukash."

Sergio Polydoro, Commercial Director of QIWI Brazil comments, "Ukash has a strong global presence, making it a key partner for QIWI, as we continue to expand worldwide. We are keen to diversify payment options and our partnership with Ukash supports our focus on enhancing the customer journey. We're seeing a growth in online shopping in Brazil and nd Ukash has a strong reputation with consumers, due to brand partnerships with MasterCard and MoneyGram. This makes Ukash a strong addition to our current suite of payment options, as a name Brazilian's can trust."

Ukash is the global e-commerce cash payment method that enables consumers around the world to use cash to shop, pay and play online safely, securely and conveniently. Developed to protect personal identity and financial information when making online transactions, reducing the threat of credit and debit card fraud for consumers, Ukash has no age limit, so consumers of all ages can make the most of safe payment online. This makes it a valuable alternative payment method for online retailers who want to reach the widest possible audience.

Ukash codes are purchased with cash in retail outlets such as shops, petrol stations and kiosks. The unique 19 digit codes can then be used to pay directly on any of the thousands of websites that accept Ukash transactions worldwide, or loaded onto prepaid cards and e-wallets.
