In an effort to support the growing need for digital transformation within global organizations, Capco, the global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, is pleased to announce its recent partnership with Decoded, provider of digital training and innovation.

As part of the new partnership, Decoded recently hosted an introduction to coding through an accelerated, hands-on learning experience utilizing Capco's Innovation Lab, located at the firm's North American headquarters in New York. Attendees left the event with a greater understanding of the digital development process from idea inception to project deployment; fundamental coding concepts and basic coding skills; the value of open source and the ability to bake-in original knowledge and insights into the development process.

"Capco's Innovation Lab is uniquely suited to host this sort of educational opportunity for industry individuals," said Elizabeth Lukas, Decoded's U.S. CEO. "It is our mission to empower people to embrace Digital Enlightenment, and we believe Capco's Lab brings together the necessary innovative and digital experience to help make that possible."

Featuring a 4k, ultra HD resolution glass touchscreen and floor-to-ceiling projection capability, the Innovation Lab is a state-of-the-art, interactive environment for financial institutions to imagine and create next-generation products and services. By employing leading-edge technology, the Lab enables diverse project stakeholders to come together and explore new service design opportunities - including large-scale program planning and product development - in a highly visual, wraparound environment, allowing clients to prototype and pilot new concepts, accelerating time to market.

Eric Disend, Partner and leader of the Capco Digital group said: "Capco established the Innovation Lab to connect with clients and the greater community to support the need for digital innovation in the financial services space. We are thrilled with the success of Decoded's event, and to be collaborating with such a forward-thinking industry leader."
