TradeKing makes Kevin Delo CIO

TradeKing Group, Inc. today announced Kevin Delo has been promoted to the role of Chief Information Officer. Formerly TradeKing's senior vice president of product, Delo now will lead the strategic development and execution of TradeKing's overall technology and product programs.

We are excited to have him in this more central leadership role as TradeKing continues its quest to 'build a better breed of broker'."

Delo is charged with building and managing TradeKing's IT, engineering and product teams, while working to identify ways the firm can leverage technology innovations to enhance its online investing platform. This includes continuing to extend TradeKing's pioneering social media, API, HTML5 website and mobile offerings to ensure the firm's online investing experience meets evolving client needs.

Delo brings to this role more than 17 years of experience in developing and managing innovative, complex brokerage products for the retail investor. Prior to joining TradeKing, Delo served as E*Trade's vice president, brokerage product management. In that role, he led a team in developing and maintaining new platforms and products, including the firm's active trader platforms, derivatives product and strategy, overall brokerage website, access to global trading, wireless platforms, market data, fraud prevention products, Application Programming Interface (API) strategy, social media and community, and back office products.

Delo holds a number of securities industry licenses, including NASD Series 7, NASD Series 24, NASD Series 4 and NASD Series 63. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz, with a B.A. in Economics.
