Warwick Credit Union (WCU) is preparing to enhance banking services for their 10,000 plus members and has selected Ultradata to implement a new state of the art core banking system - Ultracs 4.

Apart from the core system modernisation, Ultradata will also supply WCU members with a complete digital strategy including an intuitive and functionality rich internet banking solution. The digital strategy will enable WCU to offer a wide array of new services such as mobile and smart app banking. WCU will also be implementing Ultradata's newly released Loan Origination solution to enhance lending workflow.

"We selected the Ultracs 4 solution after a long and detailed review of all the available options on the market. We found that the Ultracs solution offered the best range of features, including mobile channels, fraud detection, CRM tools and much more, in a unified operating environment. This will enable us to strengthen and grow our business over the next decade and provide world class services for our members." said Rob McLaren, WCU Information and Technology Manager.

Ultradata was selected after an extensive search and review of all established banking systems across the Australasian region in a meticulous process lasting several months. "One of the key factors in our decision making process was to select a banking system that had the flexibility and performance to keep pace with the ever changing requirements of modern financial services. Ultradata's commitment to research and development has provided us with assurance that we will remain competitive as we see the shift to mobile based computing from traditional PC based environments," said Lewis Von Stieglitz, WCU's Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

WCU are planning to go live with the Ultradata system in the second half of 2014. "Ultradata has a proven track record of conducting low risk conversions and meeting tight timeframes," says Ultradata's CEO, Peter Henshaw. "Ultracs 4 is a revolutionary banking system that has been a spectacular success in the Australasian marketplace in the face of considerably more expensive and less functional international competitors. We are thrilled to welcome Warwick Credit Union to the Ultradata family and are very much looking forward to working with them and installing plenty of exciting new developments together in the future."
