ICE (International Currency Exchange), has announced a strategic alliance with TorFX, a leading provider of foreign exchange services, for international money transfers for companies and individuals.

The new partnership aims to capitalise on the complementary strengths of the two organisations to give consumers a complete travel money solution, from smaller value currency exchange for short trips and holidays, to higher value transactions for major purchases.

TorFX has a strong position in the foreign exchange arena for customers requiring competitive deals for larger amounts of money for major purchases, such as second homes, or importing or exporting stock. The partnership with ICE means TorFX customers will now also be able to benefit from competitive rates on their spending money for overseas trips.

Established in 2004 to provide foreign exchange and international payments to both individuals and companies, TorFX offers competitive exchange rates for international transfers on foreign currency exchanges starting from £2,000. Those who need to move large sums of money abroad or to pay for a significant purchase in foreign currency require assurance they are getting a good rate, and equally, through the partnership with ICE, TorFX customers can also be certain of competitive rates on smaller sums for overseas travel.

"This is a significant partnership for ICE, as TorFX will help us reach a wider market of consumers who want to conduct financial transactions overseas" said Tom Johnson, Head of ICE Online Business. "In addition, this alliance will bring existing ICE customers a comprehensive level of service, ensuring they get the best rates on small and large currency exchanges alike."

"TorFX saves people money on their international payments, which is ideal for anyone buying a property abroad or another high value investment," explains Colin Lawrence, Head of Business Development at TorFX. "Our partnership with ICE means we can now extend the level of service we provide our customers by providing competitive rates on smaller currency exchanges. Homeowners may need the best rates for spending money when friends and relatives visit and now TorFX can meet that demand, enhancing our customer experience. ICE is an established travel money expert, making it the ideal partner for TorFX."
