Money Dashboard goes mobile

Money Dashboard today announced the availability of the mobile edition of its popular free service. Money Dashboard is the UK's leading smart account aggregation service that automatically analyses spending across accounts to help people better understand their finances and manage their money.

The mobile edition of Money Dashboard has been specifically designed to provide users with a streamlined interface, which makes accessing your personal financial information 'on-the-go' easier and clearer than ever before.

The launch of the mobile site is a key part of a larger growth strategy from a £2.7 million investment round in November 2013. This is the first phase in Money Dashboard's wider mobile strategy that will see native Android and iOS apps launched over the coming months. Additional features will also be launched in the near future, building an even more powerful tool for smart account management, yet retaining its core easy to use and understand philosophy.

The mobile service comes as a result of consumer demand and follows in line with the wider market growth in mobile financial services. Despite not being previously optimised for mobile, 12% of Money Dashboard users already access the service via mobile.

Gavin Littlejohn, Founder and CEO Money Dashboard comments: "Consumers are increasingly looking to mobile for their financial needs, both as a companion to the desktop version and as the main channel. They want to be able to access their financial data whenever and wherever they are. We anticipate with this mobile optimised site that mobile traffic will increase to 60% of all logins over the next 12 months.

The service we offer is part of a new wave of financial services that have the potential to disrupt and enhance the banking services in the same way Amazon and Google have disrupted their markets. Often consumers just want to check their finances on the way home or while out shopping. This is the perfect tool for them."

Money Dashboard allows users to:
• Aggregate: all of their finances into one place by linking different accounts including savings, current and credit cards, no matter which bank they belong to. Money Dashboard provides users with an overview of their finances all in one place.
• Intelligently Tag: all of their financial data. Money Dashboard automatically categorises income and expenditure into groups and tags such as 'household', which is then further subdivided into 'electricity' for example, to make sense of your financial transactions.
• Visualise: financial data by creating simple graphs and pie-charts that show users exactly where money goes each month.
