This integration in the Amadeus Payment Platform will benefit Amadeus customers thanks to Wirecard's extensive payment and acquiring solutions.

Celia Pereiro, Head of Travel Payments at Amadeus IT Group, comments: "We are extremely pleased to strengthen our relationship with a leading provider such as Wirecard, whose global payment solutions complement our constant expansion in the travel and tourism payment arena, while adding value to our customers worldwide."

"Amadeus is considered to be a pioneer in the travel industry and sets standards in the market. Through this partnership we can now offer customers one solution out-of-the-box," said Michael Santner, Head of Partner Management with Wirecard. "Our partner program focuses on customer-relevant benefits in particular for technology alliances."
