PAY.ON, worldwide leading provider of omnichannel, web-based payment infrastructure systems, and Kount, a leading SaaS provider of innovative fraud and chargeback prevention solutions, have agreed on a strategic cooperation between the two companies.

PAY.ON is also integrating the services of the Kount Complete platform and fraud control technology Kount SMB into its infrastructure platforms, thus making solutions from Kount available to all clients around the world- from PSPs and ISOs to acquirers and to other financial institutions. At the same time, PAY.ON and Kount are combining their global distribution network to promote the mutual expansion of their client base.

The prevention of fraud and chargebacks are two key challenges for PSPs and ISOs when it comes to protecting their merchants and their end customers. The constant expansion of security barriers is an ongoing task in order to minimise fraud using all the technology available and to prevent chargebacks while supporting improved sales conversion rates. As an internationally reputed fraud management provider, Kount offers its customers highly efficient solutions to tackle both sources of loss. In this context, PAY.ON is taking strategic action to further expand its existing fraud management system.

The seamless integration of the PAY.ON platform with the Kount fraud management solution offers payment providers a set-up with optimal support for their expansion strategies, from global processing across all omnichannel payment platforms and instant connectivity to payment providers via a single API to rapid merchant onboarding, mobile payment solutions and state-of-the-art fraud and chargeback prevention – all of which meet the latest international PCI and security standards.

Given the deep integration of the two systems, their efficiency, and the synergies of know-how in processing and fraud/chargeback prevention, PAY.ON and Kount have also decided to support each other in the acquisition of new clients around the globe.

Christian Bamberger, CTO at PAY.ON AG: 'We are very pleased to have entered into a partnership with Kount, a globally renowned risk managemennt provider that leads the field in the development of innovative fraud and chargeback solutions. Our clients can now make use of solutions from Kount, using these in their business to protect their merchants. By working together in sales, both companies have consolidated their international activities while offering payment providers a convincing package solution that can stand up to any level of complexity.'

Jim Gassaway, vice president of Technology at Kount: "This strategic partnership has many benefits for clients looking to expand into new markets or across channels. Combining our technology platforms makes it easy for customers to take on revenue growth initiatives, develop their mobile channel or move into new international geographies with greater flexibility, limited exposure to fraud risk and the confidence of a solution from two industry leaders, PAY.ON and Kount backing them all the way."
