FreedomPay, creator of the world's most innovative commerce platform, today announced the addition of payments industry veteran Brian Voigt to its executive team as Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Bringing nearly 25 years of payments industry experience, Voigt has proven success in building relationships and product innovation that bring key partners and customers to the table. He will be responsible for engaging, recruiting and establishing product-complementary and revenue-generating relationships with global partners engaged in the commerce ecosystem.

Voigt joins FreedomPay after serving 18 years in strategic executive roles at Bank of America Merchant Services (BAMS), with a focus on defining mobile Point of Sale ("POS") and mobile commerce strategies. In addition to his work at BAMS, Voigt has held executive positions at several multi-national payments companies, including First Data and Chase Paymentech. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.

"We are excited to welcome Brian to FreedomPay as an essential part of our team," FreedomPay CEO Tom Durovsik said. "The payment industry is rapidly evolving, and Brian is among just a handful of payment executives capable of structuring emerging market opportunities, complex enterprise programs and forging global strategic partnerships."

Following a year of strong international growth, the addition of Voigt to the FreedomPay team bolsters expansion efforts in Europe and Latin America. FreedomPay projects 2014 to be a year of continued expansion of its high quality product offerings and staff as it harnesses the power of exceedingly detailed data captured by payment and incentive and loyalty offerings, which are being quickly adopted across many industries including retail, financial services, manufacturing and hospitality.

"This is an exciting time to join FreedomPay as it delivers real innovations to the commerce ecosystem through the world's most innovative commerce platform," said Voigt. "Up until now, companies have only envisioned a rapid evolution of commerce, FreedomPay is the only company I know of today, that is delivering on that vision."
