SAB announced today the launch of the implementation project of the core banking software SAB AT at the Banque de Développement Local (BDL) in Algiers.

Algerian public Bank, BDL is a universal retail bank with a network of over 150 branches and more than one million customers. It is particularly Bank SME / SMI and Trade oriented.

After a tender particularly rigorous and challenging, SAB was selected after proving both the capabilities of its SAB AT software and the skills of its teams to complete the BDL project.

The SAB AT solution will functionally cover all the needs of BDL for its banking business. With the acquisition of the SAB AT, BDL will be able to achieve its objectives:
 Modernize its information system,
 Adapt the functioning of the Bank,
 Refocus the agency to its core business (commercial),
 Customize workstations,
 Support changes (training, rewriting procedures, communication, adaptation of organic
texts, etc.).

The BDL General Management emphasizes the strategic importance of this acquisition: "BDL could get involved only with a vendor attentive to their needs, with a knowledge of the banking industry and the constraints of its environment". The importance of the SAB Users Club was also a determining factor in the choice of the solution.
