Russian depository appoints tech chief

National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's central securities depository, has announced the appointment of Pavel Andrianov as Director of the company's Information Technologies Development Department.

In this new role, Mr. Andrianov will be responsible for development of the company's IT systems in line with NSD's IT strategy.

Pavel Andrianov has more than 17 years' experience in the IT sphere. In 1995-2005, he worked at Sberbank of Russia as developer of the bank's settlement system and headed a project for the automation of currency settlements in the bank's branches. In 2005-2009, he worked at Promsvyazbank as deputy chief of the bank's software development department. In 2009-2012, Mr. Andrianov joined NOMOS-BANK as director of the information application system. Prior to joining NSD, Mr. Andrianov worked at TRUST National Bank as director of information system support; he was responsible for managing the bank's application and infrastructure support. Mr. Andrianov graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute.
