SmartStream Technologies, the financial Transaction Lifecycle Management specialist, today announced the implementation of their Global Holiday Calendar at Swift, within their reference data management business.

The Global Holiday Calendar provides coverage of trading sessions, exchange holidays, bank holidays, stock exchange settlement holidays, and derivatives exchange holidays. All holidays and sessions are continually monitored and any changes will be delivered to users in real-time.

Patrik Neutjens, Head of Reference Data, SWIFT, says: "Quality of data and accuracy is key when looking at world events and how they impact financial services. Our aim was to find a vendor solution that provided us with the flexibility and customisation to manage all global events data in real-time."

Philippe Chambadal, CEO, SmartStream Technologies, says: "The key differentiator for our Global Holiday Calendar is our rigid cleansing and processing services which provide accurate data worldwide. We are delighted to work with the SWIFT team on this implementation".
