Bluefin launches QuickSwipe mPOS system

Bluefin Payment Systems, the leading financial technology provider of cloud-based integrated payment solutions for independent software vendors (ISVs), has introduced their QuickSwipeTM mobile point of sale (mPOS) system.

QuickSwipe is a turn-key payment application for single and multi-user mobile processing on iOS devices. Bluefin also offers the QuickSwipe SDK for integrated payments with an ISV’s existing mobile application.

“QuickSwipe brings ISVs, SaaS providers, and merchants an innovative mobile POS system that offers everything a company needs to run their business efficiently – and securely,” said John M. Perry, CEO of Bluefin. “ISVs can easily integrate QuickSwipe into their mobile application using our SDK, or they can provide QuickSwipe as a stand-alone mobile payment system. QuickSwipe provides software companies a value-add service because clients can make a sale anytime, anywhere – whether a personal trainer, a spa or salon, or a medical practice.”

With QuickSwipe, merchants can build catalogs of items and inventory, assign administrators and users, enable tips and taxes, easily issue refunds, and provide detailed, GPS-driven receipts. The application supports credit/debit, ACH and cash journaling. Merchants have the flexibility to extend their brand to the application with the addition of their logo, colors, and business information.

“When developing the application, it was very important that we provide our ISV and SaaS partners a simple yet elegant payment solution that they could integrate directly into their mobile application – and brand to their company so that the merchant enjoys a seamless payment experience,” said Tim Barnett, CTO of Bluefin. “QuickSwipe is perfect for companies seeking a complete mobile POS system that they can add to their current application or white-label as their own.”

QuickSwipe strikes the balance between ease of use and security, employing tokenization and the ID Tech Shuttle, which encrypts data within the device and decrypts data upon reaching the QuickSwipe platform. QuickSwipe can be downloaded from Apple iTunes. Learn more about QuickSwipe at www.quickswipe.com.
