Azul and Push Technology forge high performance compact

Azul Systems, the leading provider of Java solutions for application low latency and scalability, and Push Technology, data distribution specialists, today announced a commercial agreement to combine complementary products and technologies.

Through this partnership, financial services, gaming and data services companies that are dependent on accessing or distributing high frequency, real-time data can now leverage a high performance platform for delivering consistent and interactive client experiences that are independent of message size and data rates.

This partnership delivers tangible business value to customers through increased revenue and improved customer satisfaction. Without changing their applications, hardware environment or operations - just by replacing their traditional Java runtime with Zing- they can adapt rapidly to changing customer demand and behavior, instantaneously address changing market conditions and ultimately drive additional revenue to their bottom line.

Azul's Zing JVM is the new performance standard for today's high-velocity, Java-based solutions that demand predictable and reliable real-time behavior. Optimized for low latency and high throughput, Zing takes Java performance to the next level by eliminating the pauses and latency spikes that can adversely impact data access and distribution. Zing also includes zero-overhead management and monitoring tools designed for production-time diagnostics and performance analytics.

Push Technology solves the complexity around data distribution, offering organizations intelligent delivery of real-time data to any device regardless of connectivity or location. Push Technology products reduce infrastructure requirements while delivering high performance and scalable services to any Internet connected device.

The combined solution delivers immediate performance benefits. Based on recent company benchmarks supporting 15,000 concurrent clients at 200 messages a second, the Azul Zing JVM outperformed other well known JVMs, improving average latency and reducing maximum latency outliers by 8x.
