Intuit chooses Andera account opening tech

Andera, Inc. announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Intuit Financial Services whereby Andera's oFlows platform will be the new account opening technology for Intuit's financial institution clients.

Andera's oFlows platform is a full account origination suite, with support for both deposits and loans, across the computer, tablet, mobile phone, branch and call center channels. With oFlows, financial institutions can increase their operational efficiency as they reduce the number of tools and products internally used to support the opening of accounts.

For example, oFlows can save both the consumer and the financial institution time with the ability for applicants to leverage their mobile device to securely and rapidly attach identity-verifying documents directly to their application for a new account.

Andera and Intuit Financial Services have already begun the work to integrate account opening processes with digital banking enrollment processes. Applicants will be able to seamlessly create their online and mobile banking credentials when they open an account so they can instantly start managing their money via a bank or credit union digital branch.

"The top priority for Andera has always been to give those who use our products a simple and enjoyable banking experience," said Andera CEO Charlie Kroll.

"We already have many customers in common with Intuit, and we expect that number to grow as people get even more comfortable with all aspects of paperless, mobile banking services. We're also making it easier than ever for financial institutions to engage with their customers while gaining operational efficiencies."

"Mobile devices have changed people's expectations of the services they can get from their financial institution, and how fast or conveniently they can have access to them," added John Flora, director of product management for Intuit Financial Services.

"Expanding our relationship with Andera will help us provide financial institutions with an experience that meets the needs of today's digital banking customer. Together we can offer financial institutions the most complete and innovative solution on the e market."

Andera and Intuit Financial Services originally established a partnership in June 2009.
Andera now serves more than 550 financial institutions nationwide, including more than 100 Intuit clients.
