SIX Payment Services, the European-wide provider of card-based and electronic payments, today announces the appointment of Pedro Deserrano as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Deserrano joins SIX from VISA Europe, where he held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. During the first quarter of 2013, Deserrano will join SIX Payment Services' Management Committee, heading up the Products & Marketing division.
The move by SIX Payment Services serves to underscore the international orientation of its presence and management competence.
SIX is gaining an additional expert with international experience in the card and payments business. His huge international expertise will enable him to contribute valuable industry know-how at SIX.
The many years of experience he has gleaned in market development with international card organisations and in e-commerce will help SIX to step up its European growth and expand its service leadership.
