WePay, the surprisingly simple way for small businesses to get paid online, today announced that Tina Hsiao, formerly of Intuit, has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing.

Ms. Hsiao's extensive experience with small businesses and her history of leadership across marketing, product management, customer care and finance will be invaluable as WePay continues to grow and gain market share in small business payments.

A high energy, customer-focused leader, Ms. Hsiao spent over 11 years at Intuit in their small business division. While there, she launched and led marketing for several high-growth products that helped small businesses acquire customers and manage their finances.

"There are 14.8 million service-based businesses with less than 10 employees. This is over half of all businesses in the US," said CEO Bill Clerico. "Tina's expertise and track record of success in building businesses are a great fit for WePay, and will be instrumental as we release exciting new tools for small businesses over the next few months. This is a big win for us."

"WePay impressed me with how much they care about the success of small businesses and with the simple elegance of their products," said Ms. Hsiao. "Payments for small business service providers is a huge market, and WePay is a company that is thinking very differently about how to solve the complexities and unique challenges that customers face. I see tons of potential here and can't wait to help take the company to the next level."

WePay's easy-to-use online payment tools for small businesses include Invoices, on-site Checkout Buttons, Virtual Terminal for charging credit cards, and more. New customers can be up and running and accepting their first payment in less than five minutes.
