After a period of detailed evaluation, Vienna-based Bank Gutmann AG (Bank Gutmann) has selected Xentis as its central asset management software platform.
A high level of functional coverage, modern software architecture and the Profidata Group (Profidata) company culture were the determining factors in their decision.
XENTIS will be implemented company-wide in Bank Gutmann's asset management, custodian bank and within the Gutmann Kapitalanlageaktiengesellschaft (Investment Company) in fund management as well as in fund administration. The entire value chain from front to back can be represented in XENTIS with the integration of the various organisational units. Bank Gutmann will employ XENTIS front office in both asset analysis and portfolio rebalancing, pre-trade compliance checks and order entry. XENTIS will also calculate NAVs, perform reconciliation procedures and limit checks and support legal and
client reporting. Using XENTIS, Bank Gutmann intends to strengthen system operations, regulatory adjustments, and interface and data maintenance. A significant milestone at the end of 2012, the acquisition and processing of new mandates (in particular umbrella and share class funds), running in parallel to the main XENTIS implementation, was achieved on schedule, taking less than three months.
