Mozido, LLC, the cloud-based, white-label integrated platform of mobile payments, commerce and marketing, today announced that two former senior CorFire executives have been appointed to its management team. Steve Bacastow and Charlie Wiggs strengthen Mozido's executive bench to expand its global footprint.

Mozido enables companies in retail, financial services, consumer packaged goods and telecom to serve both banked and unbanked consumers, small businesses and global corporate brands. With its platform complemented by real-time, customer behavior analytics, Mozido empowers its customers to develop smart offerings that ultimately mobilize a better future for all people.

"Steve and Charlie both bring extensive experience in the mobile payments and commerce space," said Greg Corona, chief executive officer and president, Mozido. "The addition of these seasoned and accomplished executives to our management team will enable Mozido to provide innovative technology solutions to our clients, as well as accelerate our speed to market."

Steve Bacastow joins Mozido as senior vice president of operations. An expert in the alignment of IT with business strategy, he will be responsible for leading all company operations functions with a focus on maximizing growth and profitability and meeting compliance standards. He most recently served as senior vice president of service & delivery at CorFire and led the successful launch and certification of the first commercial Trusted Service Manager (TSM) in North America (supporting the Google Wallet).

Charlie Wiggs has joined Mozido as senior vice president of business development. Wiggs will drive new business acquisition in key markets, including U.S., Mexico and India, as well as manage relationships with major global clients. Prior to joining Mozido he was vice president of sales for CorFire, where he was responsible for developing and executing the company's sales and market development strategy for financial institutions, retailers and mobile network operators.
