Dion Global Solutions, technology provider to the financial services industry, has today announced that EFG Harris Allday has gone live with its front office solution, Portfolio.
The move provides enhanced decision support for investment strategies and trade execution while delivering significant efficiency savings and reducing the risks associated with manual processes/processing.
The standalone front office solution supports EFG Harris Allday across its advisory, discretionary and execution-only business and integrates seamlessly with the firm's banking system. Portfolio's scalability allows EFG Harris Allday to adapt and be flexible in a changing and challenging market.
As the 12th client to be live on Dion's Portfolio solution, EFG Harris Allday users can create, route and execute orders instantly from a single view for both individual client and bulk orders. Advanced modelling capabilities, including drift analysis and full pre-trade vetting, can ensure regulatory requirements and client mandates are adhered to. This enhanced decision support is available within Portfolio and, if used, can allow EFG Harris Allday to secure the optimal trading or investment outcome for its private clients in a much easier, more efficient manner.
A smooth implementation saw the system fully integrated to the back office and live within 4 months. The partnership established between the two firms has laid the foundations for a long-term, collaborative relationship, echoed by EFG Harris Allday's long term agreement with Dion.
Ron Treverton-Jones, Managing Director, EFG Harris Allday, said: "Our investment management and stockbroking services are based on the quick and efficient execution of well-informed investment decisions. Using Dion's Portfolio solution we can do this much more effectively and its robust yet sophisticated infrastructure provides exactly what we need to support and enhance our front office."
"EFG Harris Allday is a leading private client stockbroker, and the right technology enhances its ability to deliver top quality service. We are confident its investment in Portfolio will pay dividends", said Kean Williams, Head of UK Client Services, Dion.
