Midas Underwriting Ltd has selected Transactor Global Solutions Ltd (TGSL) as its new software supplier.

TGSL will provide MIDAS with a complete IT solution integrating new business, underwriting, product development and back office capability including claims loss control functionality, specifically designed to cater for MIDAS's unique business model.

MIDAS entered the market in 2011 to underwrite a 'niche' range of insurance products within the UK broker market, specifically catering for non-standard risks coupled with full cycle EDI integration.

Michael McKee, Operations Director, MIDAS said "Our relationship with TGSL is a partnership in every sense and together we strive to develop a unique IT solution which comprehensively caters for our specific operational needs as an MGA."

Simon Macray, Insurer Liaison Manager, TGSL said, "We're excited to be working on this new project and thank MIDAS Underwriting for choosing our software solution. MIDAS had a clear vision of what they needed from an IT system so the configurability of Transactor was paramount to the deal".
