Vancouver-based hyperWallet Systems Inc, a leading provider of global payment solutions, and Iceland's Valitor, a leader in international issuing and acquiring services, have signed an agreement to issue prepaid cards across Europe.

hyperWALLET provides integrated payment services, including prepaid cards, for many corporations making regular payments to recipients globally. Valitor's issuing services, originally developed for the Icelandic market, have enjoyed much attention from the European market.

Lisa Shields, CEO of hyperWALLET notes that "hyperWALLET initially selected Valitor because of its history of excellence in European cross-border payments. However we are finding Valitor's willingness to localize solutions for each country within its licensed region is what really sets them apart in the market today."

Viðar Þorkelsson, CEO of Valitor stated "With the successful export of our processing platform it was obvious we should continue our efforts in Europe. The European market is very interesting for Valitor and we see this agreement with hyperWALLET Systems Inc. as a significant step in expanding our issuing services across Europe".

The cross-border payments sector is growing rapidly with some providers scrambling to meet increasing customer expectations. hyperWALLET Systems Inc., as a leading provider of online, prepaid card and mobile international payments coupled with Valitor's ability to localize solutions to address customer demand, will bring new and competitive payment offerings to customers across Europe.
