Quartet FS, the innovative provider of in-memory analytics technology today announces a technology partnership with Tibco Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) to cloud enable ActivePivot, Quartet FS's flagship solution, on Tibco Silver Fabric.

With ActivePivot Distributed Architecture launched in May 2012, Quartet FS has taken another step forward in helping enterprises deploy unprecedented in-memory analytics use cases to solve critical operational challenges. Recognising that the distributed nature of these new use cases requires cloud management capabilities, Quartet FS chose to partner with TIBCO - an established leader in the field - instead of developing its own monitoring solution. Enterprise customers will be able to migrate their existing applications to a lower cost, more agile and more dynamic operating model, with TIBCO Silver Fabric. The integration will allow large-scale, multi-node customer deployments of ActivePivot to increase service levels while reducing operating costs.

The expanded offering enables customers to:
• process greater volumes of data, at faster rates from any global destination
• solve new Big Data use cases such as Credit Value Adjustment, dynamic e-commerce pricing or real-time visibility into the supply chain
• increase business agility and responsiveness
• reduce operating and capital expenses

Georges Bory, managing director and co-founder of Quartet FS, said: "Partnering with TIBCO enables ActivePivot distributed architecture to operate in optimum conditions, with lower risk of failover and decreased administration costs for our customers. CIOs can implement ActivePivot for large deployments with confidence that the solution will keep up with data volumes, velocity and variety, and that it will be available and resilient at any time. In this environment, customers will be able to leverage the full power of ActivePivot."

Peter Lee, SVP for TIBCO, commented: "Large enterprise organisations seeking actionable intelligence from their core IT systems recognise ActivePivot as a market leader for in-memory, distributed architecture analytics technology. We are excited about the joint value proposiition for our customers to leverage this technology partnership."
