Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's leading vendors of IT solutions for retail, and Quad GmbH, one of Europe's leading distributors of POS systems, will be cooperating in future.

Within the partnership, Quad will take over the distribution of POS systems from Wincor Nixdorf to resellers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In taking this step, Wincor Nixdorf is continuing its overall expansion by extending its partner business. The cooperation will in future allow specialty retailers or catering companies, for example, to use POS solutions from the market leader Wincor Nixdorf.

"This partnership will give our resellers access for the first time to Wincor Nixdorf's leading EPOS solutions," says Andreas Wey, General Manager at QUAD. "The BEETLE hardware solutions, which have already proven their worth worldwide with leading retail companies, and the industry-specific software solutions offered by our resellers complement each other perfectly. In addition, we can now offer higher quality solutions from a premium vendor whose brand name stands for innovative, reliable and energy-saving systems in the POS and banking sector." QUAD offers reliable technologies from leading vendors at the best price/performance ratio - from individual terminals to branch systems. With the POS systems from Wincor Nixdorf, QUAD will serve a reseller network that offers sophisticated IT solutions to customers in 80 sectors of industry.

Thorsten Braun, General Manager Wincor Nixdorf Retail D-A-CH, explains: "This partnership with a leading EPOS distributors is proof that Wincor Nixdorf is consistently driving forward the expansion of its business in the reseller channel. We will support the partnership with QUAD through joint services from Wincor Nixdorf and QUAD, so that the resellers' end customers can invest with confidence in these solutions."
