The application developed by the WSE is a mobile source of information on current quotations of financial instruments listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The list of instruments includes exchange indices, shares, bonds, structured products, futures contracts, options and warrants.

In addition to quotations, users of mobile devices equipped with Google Android or Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad) may also access key statistics and latest news from the WSE Main Market, NewConnect and Catalyst.

The long list of functionalities of the WSE application includes the tab "My Exchange" where users can personalise the list of instruments according to their own preferences.

All available functionalities of the application are supported by a user-friendly layout and intuitive navigation. The application is available in two language versions, Polish and English, free of charge.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange has for many years offered a mobile version of its website (available at m.gpw.pl); thus, users of mobile phones and other mobile devices could already access quotations, ratios, communiqués, resolutions and other information on their phones. The launch of the additional application for users of smartphones and other mobile devices further improves investor access to exchange data.

"There is nothing more important on the exchange market than information. Fast and efficient access to information is a key resource of every capital market participant. As a key capital market institution implementing many innovative initiatives, we want to facilitate access to information through state-of-the-art technology. Hence, the decision to offer the application free of charge. I am certain that it will attract a lot of interest, not only on part of investors," said WSE CEO Ludwik Sobolewski.

Within the first days since the launch of the WSE's new tool, a thousand users on average have downloaded the application every day, making it the most popular download in the Finance category of the App Store and the third most popular free-of-charge application (iPad).
