Annalisa Sarasini joins smartTrade as global head of sales

smartTrade Technologies, an industry leader in cross-asset liquidity management software today announced that Annalisa Sarasini, has assumed the role of Global Head of Sales. Based in London, she will focus on growing global revenue.

She has a deep understanding of financial technology and the needs of the capital markets, having focused on this industry for the past 12 years. Her addition will help smartTrade to maintain our growth trajectory."
Before joining smartTrade, Ms. Sarasini was VP of Global Sales for the Messaging Business Unit of Informatica Corporation. She managed a global sales team and significantly grew license revenue year over year in both direct and channel sales.
Prior to her role at Informatica, Ms. Sarasini ran Global Sales for 29West. She started by setting up and running Sales and Operations in EMEA and was soon appointed Worldwide Head of Sales. She built a global team and steadily grew the company's revenue and average deal size, helping position 29West for acquisition by Informatica in March 2010.
With a Masters degree in computer science, Ms. Sarasini has deep technical experience, enabling her to understand and help solve clients' pressing technology issues. She served in technical sales and business development at IONA Technologies and Sonic Software (now Progress Software), supporting clients and in the Capital Markets. She began her career as a software engineer with eXcelon/ObjectDesign.
