Intuit switches Sharon credit Union on to mobile

Managing finances anytime, anywhere is now a reality thanks to Sharon Credit Union's mobile banking solutions powered by Intuit Financial Services.

With more than $400M in assets and five branch locations located southeast of Boston, Sharon Credit Union is extending its services by offering these mobile banking solutions to provide members the ability to:

-- View account balances and account transaction history.

-- Transfer funds between eligible accounts.

-- Pay bills on the spot.

-- Locate nearby ATMs and Branches using the phone's GPS capabilities.

-- Make check deposits remotely by using a mobile web browser, or iPhone and Android Apps.

Sharon Credit Union has identified a segment of its membership that has a desire to conduct more of their daily financial tasks via a mobile device. Within the first year of offering mobile services, 42% of the credit union's online banking users are conducting transactions via their mobile phone device. Sharon Credit Union apps are available for a free download on Apple iTunes and Android Google Play.

Brian Arcand, Senior Information Officer of Sharon Credit Union states, "We continue to expand our offerings to provide the ultimate in member convenience. The seamless and secure suite of choices allows members to use a variety of mobile devices to bank on their own terms -- anywhere, at any time and on virtually any device."
