TMX Atrium expands options community choice

TMX Atrium, provider of smarter infrastructure solutions for the financial community, today announced that it has added MJT Software Development, the technology provider specialising in equity options, market maker quoting engines and advanced trading tools to its trading community.

TMX Atrium's venue neutral platform is designed to maximise trading participant's opportunities by offering a simple, resilient point of connectivity to the TMX Atrium financial community.

MJT software has been working with TMX Atrium for a number of years and as their connectivity demands have grown, TMX Atrium has been able to scale accordingly to offer high-performance, high-speed low latency connectivity via their NY4 access point. Connectivity to TMX Atrium at NY4 enables MJT Software to not only access a greater number of trading participants, but also allows them to take low latency data feeds directly from TMX Atrium.

Emmanuel Carjat, Managing Director of TMX Atrium, said, "TMX Atrium's secure infrastructure co-located in multiple key financial centers enables all of our participants to benefit from greater choice; choice of venues, choice of data feeds and choice of cross asset-class venues and trading participants. We consulted with MJT Software to help them recognise the benefits of a central access point onto our global community in NY4, allowing them to benefit from a greater number of trading participants with whom to cross-connect."

John Brown, Managing Member at MJT Software added, "We want to increase our client base and expand the number of data providers and Exchange destinations our clients can quote to. Connecting to TMX Atrium's community infrastructure enables MJT to connect our traders to multiple data feed providers and helps optimize the services available to our end-clients. TMX Atrium continues to expand the number of venues and counterparties available on their network, a strategy that will only benefit the MJT customer base in the growing TMX Atrium community."
