Chartis Research, the leading provider of research and analysis on the global market for risk technology, has announced that it has been granted authorisation by the UK's Financial Services Authority ('FSA') to provide investment research and advisory services to professional investors and eligible counterparties.

"This is an important development since it enables Chartis to have the unique ability to offer market and investment research side-by-side," states Peyman Mestchian, Managing Partner at Chartis Research in London.

He adds: "Securing FSA authorisation also demonstrates our commitment to putting in place governance, people and systems aligned with an express intention to provide the highest quality independent research on the market today."

Chartis will nevertheless maintain its total focus on the risk, compliance and financial technology industry.

"The risk and financial technology market is experiencing significant growth and is attracting institutional investors, private equity firms as well as M&A activity," observes Mestchian. "Chartis' investment advice will be supported by its deep industry knowledge, which provides valuable insight for professional investors interested in this space."
