Nomura Research Institute (NRI), Ltd., a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions, today announced that T-Star/GX, a front and middle solution for asset managers, is now available on NRI's cloud environment, T-MONOLIX.

T-STAR/GX on T-MONOLIX is scalable for clients' needs and offers features such as CPU, memory storage disks. With the new offering, clients will have access to the T-STAR/GX solution without the expenditure of having to install the system at their site, saving financial and human resources. In addition, clients will be able to get access to T-STAR/GX's calculation of the time-weighted rate of return, performance attribution analysis, alternative balance views, as well as trading and rate of return by asset type, sector and by security.

"Until now, our clients purchased this hardware separately and managed it from their company site. However, T-STAR/GX on T-MONOLIX streamlines investment managers' processes via the NRI data center, directly on the T-MONOLIX platform," said Shin Kusunoki, Corporate Senior Vice President and Asset Management Systems Division Manager, NRI. "NRI is rolling out our asset managers' financial solutions on a cloud platform to enhance their operational efficiency and our service quality."

T-STAR/GX provides data warehousing and performance analysis for asset managers by connecting to NRI's back-office solution (T-STAR/TX, T-STAR/RX, SYNTAX) and market data.
