Our client is an established International consulting firm for clients in the Banking & Financial Services markets. They provide a range of services from strategic consulting / advisory services to project and change management programmes. Clients include sell-side and buy-side institutions, and also insurance firms. 

Role Overview:

This role is based in New York City. The role will report to the Regional Head of Sales.

You will be part of a successful Business Development team, working in partnerships with consultants to bring new business to the firm through relationship building and consultative sales.

This role will focus on developing new business with Buy-Side and Insurance clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales revenue targets through new business development.
  • Develop new business with a focus on Buy-Side and Insurance prospects.
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end from contact to closure.
  • Build and develop relationships based on trust, credibility and proven ability to deliver.
  • Identify client requirements and ways in which the firm can solve their needs.
  • Articulately communicate the firm's solutions and value propositions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Track record selling to Financial Services firms, preferably large buy-side and/or insurance firms.
  • Experience selling professional services e.g. consulting, advisory, change management, etc.
  • Sales experience must be focused on the North America region.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales revenue targets.
  • Consultative sales approach with a natural ability for relationship-building.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player.
