Briefly, our Client is a publically quoted global software and services vendor focussed on the banking and financial services sector. They require a Country Manager to run their business in Australia and the Pacific. It has full P & L, budget, client relationship and staff responsibility for this region. The role will report to the Managing Director of Asia Pacific and sit on the APAC management team. The appointee will drive the business forward to achieve a 20 year on year growth in revenues over the next 5 years. They will also work with the broader global resources as necessary.
Currently the business has approximately US$ 8 M of recurring revenue and a staff of around 35 which is set to grow to 50+ depending on business increment. The Company is a very well respected and long established business with an excellent reputation in all respects. This is regarded as a senior and strategically important hire and final interviews will be at main board level. It is likely that the successful candidate will be in or have held a similar level post with a banking/FS systems/services vendor and have an excellent knowledge of this market in Australia.
