This is a unique and important strategic position. It is the only one of its kind within our Client, a global publicly listed financial services and software vendor. The role is based in London and has one primary function: to manage the commercial and service relationship with their partner, a leading global consultancy and through them, for delivering and maintaining our Client's managed services focussed on post trade processing. The end clients are major global banks.

Candidates will have had experience of managing commercial relationships and complex contract process and execution. Building deep and mutually beneficial relationships is key and much of the role is dedicated to managing the contractual processes with our Client's strategic partner to protect all stakeholders. Experience of general management or full P & L accountability of a business line would be pertinent. This is definitely not a sales position with very little involvement with the end users for whom the partner takes full sales responsibility, though there is a revenue generation aspect to the role including forecasting and invoicing. It is also an important part of any governance and escalation process and key to the managing of the company's vast support services to ensure the best possible client support.

This role manages multi-million pound budgets and we believe suitable candidates will closely indentify with the component parts of this important and senior position. Candidates will have deep knowledge of the post trade processing environment including asset classes, markets, client needs for products and solutions. They will have profound understanding of long-standing client relationships and credibility and gravitas at senior level. The ideal background would be from a similar role managing the relationship with one strategic global partner though experience in the initiation and delivery of large-scale IT change projects from a vendor perspective is of relevance.
