Maximum uptime on the cards for Syntegra and Visa

Maximum uptime on the cards for Syntegra and Visa

Source:

Visa has invested heavily in technology to cut the waiting time for its card authorisation service down to just a few seconds. With Syntegra, it aims to improve this successful service even further.

In the mid 1990's Visa worked with Syntegra, the systems integration business of BT, to develop the International Automated Referral Service (IARS) to speed up the process of credit card transaction authorisation.
