This paper provides comparative tables presenting statistical data on payments and settlement systems in selected countries. It updates the data contained in the statistical tables in the so-called 'Red Book' (Payment Systems in the Group of Ten Countries), the latest edition of which was published in July 2002.
This version of the statistical update contains data for 2001 and earlier years.
