Deutsche Bank research into PSD2, GDPR, and the value of personal data finds many obstacles to cross before the arrival of true Open Banking.

Notwithstanding the techncial difficulties in building an interoperable API framework, the paper suggests that a disconnect between PSD2 and general data protection regulations will distort competition in the financial sector.
