The UK's Payment Systems Regulator starts a conversation on how data is used in payment systems and explores the potential barriers to its objectives.

 The UK’s payments sector is rapidly evolving and data is becoming increasingly important. The way payments data is collected, used and shared presents opportunities for payment service providers and end users – the people and organisations that use payment systems.

As the PSR explores what role it can play to make sure new uses of data work well for the people and businesses that use payment systems, it has identified key areas - both direct and indirect - in which its plans could be affected.
