Influential thinkers, innovators and senior banking executives came together at Helsinki’s premier trade convention centre, Messukeskus for discussion and debate to redefine what banking truly means in the 21st century.

The sessions were complemented by a startup demo zone and exhibition showcasing some of the most innovative startups and technologies from the Nordic regions. High-growth and high-potential companies from venture capitalist portfolios, business networks and accelerator labs across Europe were hand-picked to showcase in our specially designed 'startup village'.

Future Money Nordics follows on from the exceptional success of the London event in 2014 and 2015 which brought together hundreds of industry practitioners from around the world for an event filled with collaborative discussion and debate.

Future Money Nordics covered Innovation, Money, Commerce and the App, New Market Entrants and Commercial and Corporate Banking innovation.

  • The Innovation Journey - how banks are reforming and changing their internal IT cultures to take advantage of digital technologies.
  • Money, Commerce and the App - how retail commerce and payments is leading the way in financial innovation.
  • New Market Entrants - how firms from outside of the banking community are adding and pushing advancement in the connected commercial ecosystem.
  • Commercial and Corporate Banking innovation - how corporates are embracing digital and moving to real-time.
