Finextra World Cup Fantasy Football league

04 June 2010  |  5058 views  |  1

World Cup fever has hit Finextra HQ, with the team coming close to blows over the rules and regulations governing our (entirely legal, we checked) internal sweepstake. After drawing North Korea, I'm considering taking the case to arbitration but in the meantime, with competitive juices flowing, we invite our community members to join the Finextra World Cup Fantasy Football league.

When it comes to choosing which competition to join there are scores of options but laziness dictates we go for the one that tops the Google search list so it's the official Fifa offering, which is sponsored by that well known promoter of healthy living, McDonald's.

The rules page is worryingly lengthy but diligence will be rewarded with a fantastic Finextra prize for the winner. The more the merrier so feel free to sign up and use the code 383193-90197 to join our private league.

I think the Community would like to know that young Matt also picked 'Brazil' out of the bucket. So he has at least one chance to nab the pot.
