A week ago we rolled out the ability for Community members to Thumb Up comments that other users have added to news articles.

We received some feedback from John Dring asking if we could add the ability to Thumb Up comments to Blog items. Well, we listened and we have now rolled out this feature.

Start Thumbing Up (or should that be Thumb Upping) comments that you like!

Interesting.  I can thumbs-up my own comment!  I thought I tried this with News thumbs-ups and it didn't allow me, so maybe there is some check missing on the Blog comment link?
