It is better to build from the ground up. Actually the only way...

If you have followed the input from AI-experts on LinkedIN and asked AI itself - you will have noticed that there is already a consensus that identity-building verifiable credentials to and from IDwallets are a precondition for successful AI-agentic employment and empowerment.

The most important statement now came from the coalition agreement in Germany:

"At its core is a secure hashtag#digital hashtag#identity for hashtag#companies, from which we can derive trusted identities for systems and AI agents.”

So full focus on taking organisation wallets in use.  How else can we get a critical mass of credentials to citizens - at work and at home?

And thus - even before the thus enabled AI-agentic stage - get the estimated 3% GDP growth from better productivity, security, risk management, fraud near-elimination etc. In Germany the net cost savings in procurement processes only in enterprises with more than 2m€ is estimated to amount to 84,7 bn€/year..  See this as the way forward for the Single Market.. And then (but only then) double up GDP-growth with safe and speedy AI-adoption.

More from Germany here:

High time for the banks - as traditional trust suppliers - to deploy organisation wallets and help all organisation customers to take the step - before employing AI-agents. It makes no sense to wait for EU making it mandatory. Actually it is about missing opportunities.  To be on the menu instead of being at the table.
