This seems to be a clever move for a bank to get involved in the project. It should give HSBC a leading advantage in capturing a slice of the underbanked sector.
Cheap high speed internet access coupled with cheap mobile phones will make banking ubiquitous and bring a major portion of the world's population into the financial services world.
