HSBC gets down to business with social networking

It's nice to see HSBC getting into online networking, and with a good bankable idea.

It could pay off in providing the bank with a modern image because let's face it, the average start-up will be making significant use of the web.

A little look at the site reveals a bit of a cluttered screen designed for 800x600. Virtually all of us run at least 1024x768 screens these days and the site is a little cluttered on the left of the screen at the moment, but it's early days so I'll wait and see how it evolves. I suspect they are due for a complete review of the HSBC site.

I am sure HSBC have a few little surprises in mind and can see that there are no limits. A nice mix of real world interaction to top it off will be just the ticket.

I hope it delivers on what is excellent potential.
